As a visual artist, one of my favourite proverbs that speak to my soul is "Obi Nnim Obrempon Ahyease”

 (No one knows the beginning of a great man)

 

This is a proverb in my native tongue Akan (Twi) which simply means the beginnings of greatness are unpredictable.

 

Hence, we should not despise small beginnings or condemn people when they are starting and seem to be struggling.
